President and CEO, Ricardo Schneider: Ricardo Schneider holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. from UFRGS-Brazil, and Executive education from Harvard Business School. He joined Danfoss Turbocor in January 2009 after a very successful tenure with Danfoss where he had been since 1993 and where he held several different positions in three different countries. Ricardo started with Danfoss as Regional Sales Manager, and then moved on to be a General Manager, and finally as the Global Vice President of Danfoss Air Conditioning leading Danfoss to succeed in the competitive global air conditioning market by growing the business from $100 million to $380 million in less than 5 years, and by executing innovative strategies to address global climate and energy challenges. Prior to Danfoss, Ricardo was leading the R&D and Engineering teams of one of the largest refrigeration companies in Brazil where one of his main achievements was successfully transferring and implementing technologies from certain European manufacturers. |

Vice President of Engineering and Product Development, Dr. Lin Sun: Lin has 25 years of experience in mechanical and electronic engineering (Mechatronics). He joined Ron Conry’s turbo compressor development team in 1996. Since then, he has been responsible for magnetic bearing technology for Danfoss Turbocor. He has been actively involved in many areas of the Danfoss Turbocor business, from research and development and commercial engineering to manufacturing process, quality assurance, and product support. Since 2006, Lin has been responsible for the Danfoss Turbocor Engineering and Product Development department. Lin has ten years of academic experience in research and teaching of electronic engineering and mechanical engineering in Tsinghua University in China and Melbourne University in Australia. Lin has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics from Tsinghua University in China, and a PhD in Engineering from Melbourne University in Australia. |
